Raconteur Radio

Dubbed a "cross between a medieval pageant wagon and a Kraftwerk concert" by Kyle Hartzwell of NPR’s Story Corp, Raconteur Radio stages theatrical performances of vintage and original radio plays (and pop cultural parodies) for live audiences throughout the tri-state area (high schools, libraries, cultural venues, etc.). Past productions include Casablanca; The Great Gatsby; Sunset Boulevard; 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea; The Hobbit; Rebecca; Jaws; From Russia with Love; The Green Hornet; Sherlock Holmes & The Final Problem; The Third Man; The Twilight Zone; The Empire Strikes Back; Sorry, Wrong Number; The Maltese Falcon; The Most Dangerous Game; A Christmas Carol, The War of the Worlds; The Hitchhiker (with Michael Nathanson, star of the 2012 Oscar nominated Sci-fi short, Time Freak, and Steven Soderbergh’s final film, Side Effects) and Flywheel, Shyster, & Flywheel (with Welcome Back Kotter’s Bobby Hegyes as Chico Marx).
